Nokē Smart Entry Steps to your Storage Unit

Accessing your storage is fast and easy with the Smart Entry System.

1. Download – After completing the rental process you’ll receive a text inviting you to download the app.

2. Setup – After downloading the app you will be prompted to enter your phone number and the 6-digit code included in the text. You will also be prompted to setup a password.

3. Access – Once the app is setup, you’ll see the access icons for the gate and lock light up once you’re within 3 feet, just tap it to unlock and open.

4. Share – If you would like to share your digital key with a friend, open the app and in the upper right corner is the option to share access. Just enter the cell phone of the person you want to share with, and they will get an invitation to download the app. They will need to follow steps 1-3.

Standard Units – Cylinder Locks

If you did not choose to use a Nokē Lock, we require our standard rentals use the cylinder lock that is included in your welcome packet. These are the most secure locks available, they are housed internally within the rental, similar to the front door lock in your house or apartment. Doors are built specifically to work these cylinder locks. They cannot be cut, as the entire lock is located within the door.

Installing the cylindrical lock

Fit the cylindrical lock into the elongated hole on the left side of the door latch plate. (The opening should have a slightly arched top and a flat bottom, that corresponds to the arched top and flat bottom on the shaft of the cylinder lock.)

Locking your rental

Insert the key into the lock. With the key in the cylinder lock, put it in the opening, flat end down and turn until the keyhole is in the three o’clock position, then remove the key. The door will now be locked.
